The nursing professors are rude and disorganized. This place stinks. Go somewhere else. I'm currently enrolled in my last semester at Wor-Wic and have had nothing short of a great college experience so far. Since it's a community college, the class sizes are smaller which allow for more instructor attention for assistance, as well as flexible office hours! There are so many resources ranging from tutoring to mental health to the food pantry and more. All the staff are usually very welcoming as well. Wor-Wic gets five stars from me:) Ever since I started attending Wor-wic, I have met so many encouraging students & teachers. I feel confident moving on as a General Studies major & will keep pushing myself for those that helped me get where I am now! I love this place & will have fond memories of it! The instructors were great and the equipment was really nice. I wanted to thank Academic Advisor Lindsay Johnson for being kind, compassionate and extremely helpful with me over the phone last week. I had signed up for the summer session of EMS classes and I had to cancel them as a result of my father passing.  I called thinking it was too late to register for the fall and not only was Lindsay compassionate and kind-she took care of everything right then and there.  I am now all set up for enrollment in the fall.  She is an exceptional person. Don’t let her go! Really enjoyed learning at this college. The staff is helpful and supportive. They also have support program called TRIO that will help you achieve your goals.     I love the facility...   Excellent College! Thanks WorWic!! Hazel Center Cafe is delicious! Loved when I was told that they ran out of books for calculus and wanted me to by the book from Salisbury University but I was using Financial aid and couldn't afford a $400 book and then wait for a reimbursement. I graduated from here.  The only thing I disliked was having to go to the college as much as I did (I tried to do most stuff online but this was before the pandemic).  However, I know they can't just hand out degrees and make it easy for everyone. Safe and Clean for your Continuing Education Very friendly.and helpful staff and instructors  Staff were helpful.  Social distancing guidelines were clear. Masks were worn whenever contact was made.   Great technology, great coworkers   Service was quick & easy. All my concerns were addressed & I was totally satisfied!! However, my sister who just started attending here has had multiple incidents of faculty (advisors and front office) being incompetent or unable to answer questions that they should know the answers to. I personally didn't have these experiences because I didn't engage much with faculty but this has severely hampered her experience here. She even had a replacement teacher for one going on maternity leave who would say rude remarks to students, and even when multiple students complained, the department head and the dean of student affairs refused to rectify the situation, aka reprimand the teacher at the very least. I hope WorWic figures some things out for the sake of current and future students because, other than what I mentioned, it is a good environment and most teachers encourage you to work hard and succeed. School is ok. Some teachers are good others are bad. You pay other people for you to teach yourself. Do not take A & P here Lab sucks you sit there and you don't even get to dissect anything. I re took the class because they said my lab wasn't good enough from my previous school. Yet this lab you don't do anything and the reason is because the college can't afford it because ppl aren't enrolling. And if you need to get a hold of a professor that you have online classes with good luck it wouldn't happen. I have heard great praise about the nursing program. But my first semester at this college and I couldn't be more disappointed.  Great school! I repeatedly was concerned about the reliability of a professor and voiced my concerns to my counselor who just like my professor didn't know who I was. During the final asked who I was. My counselor suggested that school wasn't for me. A 2.7 student that college wasn't for me. Great Campus, friendly staff Expect problems. I dropped a course due to moving out of state and they will not give me my transcript until I pay for a class I dropped within the first week. In addition, no one has called or emailed me back about this issue for several months. I didn't excellent school to launch from! Great place to start on an educational track
